Edane is a group of hard rock music and heavy metal from Jakarta (Indonesia) who started work since 1991. Edane known for wacky guitar from Eet Sjahranie, personnel who had one stage with Indonesia legendary musicians, such as God Bless, Iwan Fals, and Sawung Jabo.

Edane has released seven albums, among others: The Beast (1992), Jabrik (1994), Borneo (1996), 9299 (1999), 170 Volts (2002), Time To Rock (2005) and Edan (2010), where the album 9299 (Aquarius Musikindo) is a compilation of new songs and the old song, with the song "Untuk Dunia", "Dengarkan Aku", and "Rock On" which became a hit single. Old song that goes, among others, "Jabrik", "Ikuti" and "Borneo" is loaded with Dayak ethnic elements.

Edane genre is hard rock, although it prefers to call it rock Eet only. According Eet and Dawn, Edane music creation process beginning with riffs were played in the studio which later evolved into the composition and finally on track, that’s why the cultivation of the album Edane always long. For the album Edane could spend more than a hundred shifts, considerable amounts for other bands.
